Chevrolet Captiva Premiere Rental in Dubai - 7 Seats, Zero Compromise

Moving 7 people through Dubai without splitting into two cabs is a logistics problem. The Chevrolet Captiva Premiere solves it. Turbocharged 1.5L engine, panoramic sunroof, leather seats, Apple CarPlay, rear AC vents — fully-loaded at one of the sharpest rental prices in the 7-seater SUV segment.

At +45°C outside, dual-zone climate control and rear ventilation aren't optional extras. They're the reason 65% of family groups in Dubai choose this exact class over a standard sedan split.

Popular Configurations for the Chevrolet Captiva Premiere

Family 7-Seater: The Group Logistics Play

All 7 seats occupied — the Captiva Premiere's ISOFIX mounts on the second row keep child seats locked in place. No improvisation. Rear AC vents handle the third row at +40°C. This is the standard configuration for families arriving at Dubai International Airport (DXB) with kids and luggage in tow.

Rent a Chevrolet Captiva Premiere for family trips: fits groups of up to 7, stroller space available when the third row folds flat.

Business Economy: The Corporate Delegation Move

A black Captiva Premiere pulls up to a Business Bay meeting — nobody questions the brief. Skip the cost of a luxury car hire while keeping the professional optics. Leather interior, clean lines, valet-friendly footprint. Four colleagues in one Captiva vs. four separate taxis — one decision saves 300–400 AED per day.

Rent a Chevrolet Captiva in Dubai for corporate groups: structured, affordable, zero late arrivals.

Long-Trip SUV: Abu Dhabi and Back

170 hp. On E11 or E311 with a full load, cruise control locks at 120 km/h without the engine straining. Fuel efficiency: 14–15 km/L — relevant when covering 300+ km round-trip to Abu Dhabi or Ras Al Khaimah. Among affordable SUV rentals in Dubai, this is the no-brainer for distance.

Rent a Chevrolet Captiva Premiere for UAE road trips: cruise-ready, fuel-efficient, 250 km/day included.

What to Know Before You Rent a Chevrolet Captiva Premiere in Dubai

Key Selection Factors

Seating vs. luggage trade-off: 7 passengers = 2–3 carry-on bags max. Fold the third row for full boot space. Rear AC vents: Critical for third-row passengers at +40°C — Captiva Premiere has them standard. Confirm before booking any 7-seater. Fuel type: Regular 91 octane — cheaper to run than larger SUVs requiring 98 Super. CDW-insurance: Included as standard. Franchise 1,000 AED per incident. Mileage: 250 km/day included — Dubai to Abu Dhabi and back in one day, no overage.

Check Apple CarPlay connectivity before pulling out of the pickup point — on Captiva 2023+, it pairs in under 30 seconds. Speed bumps in Al Barsha and JVC are aggressive. The Captiva Premiere's ground clearance handles them straight-on without drama, unlike lower crossovers.

Cost vs. Value Analysis

Renting a Chevrolet Captiva Premiere with Rentico starts from 200 AED/day — less than two one-way taxi trips for 4 people. On a weekly rental, savings reach 20% versus the daily rate. Monthly — up to 35%. Monthly car rental in Dubai with a Captiva Premiere makes financial sense from day 22 onward.

A family of 5 renting the Captiva Premiere for 7 days pays approximately 1,197 AED total. Four daily round-trips in a 7-seat taxi cost 800–1,000 AED over the same period. The Captiva wins by 15–20% — and full schedule control stays with you.

Choose your payment method, enter the details, and confirm.

    • Accidents caused while breaking the law (e.g. driving under the influence or fleeing the scene).

    • Lost keys or personal belongings in the car.

    • Your passport

    • Your valid driver’s license (front and back)

    • An International Driving Permit (IDP) — this is required for citizens of some countries (see the list here).

If you’re from the EU, GCC, USA, UK, Canada, or a few other places, you don’t need an IDP. For people from Belarus and Ukraine, just your national driver’s license and passport are enough to book.

If you’re from Russia, Kazakhstan, or other CIS countries, an International Driving Permit is a must.

UAE residents should provide a valid UAE driver’s license and their Emirates ID. If your UAE license is less than 3 months old, please also send your national driver’s license showing you’ve been driving for 3 months or more.

  • Off-road use is a violation of the rental agreement and is not allowed.

    • Ages 18–21:
You can rent economy-class cars only. A refundable deposit of AED 2,000 is required.
Insurance terms: in case of an accident, you’ll pay the deductible (usually AED 1,000) plus 10% of the repair cost or vehicle value (in case of total loss).

    • Ages 21–25:

Insurance terms: the deductible ranges from AED 1,000 to 1,500 depending on the car class, plus 10% of the repair cost or car value (in case of total loss).

    • 25 and older:
All car categories are available. The 10% rule does not apply to insurance.

Minimum driving experience: 3 months (applies to all age groups).

If your UAE license is less than 3 months old but your original license shows more driving experience, you're still eligible to rent a car.

  • Any customer who has a valid UAE Driving License which is minimum 1 year old or above.

    • Cash — in AED, USD, or EUR.

    • Debit and credit cards — including Russian cards in RUB.

    • Bank transfers.

  • Yes — with Rentico, you can rent a car without a deposit or credit card.

A credit card is not required.

  • If you want to rent a car in the UAE, in some cases you’ll need an International Driving Permit (IDP) along with your regular driver’s license. For example, people from Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, and some other countries need an IDP. You can find a list of the most common countries and their IDP requirements here.

You don’t need an International Driving Permit if you are:

    • A UAE resident. Just show your Emirates ID and a valid UAE driver’s license that’s been issued at least 3 months ago. If your UAE license is newer than that, you’ll also need to show your original national driver’s license proving you’ve been driving for more than 3 months.

    • A citizen of the EU, GCC, USA, UK, Canada, Belarus, or Ukraine. For renting a car, your national driver’s license and passport are enough.

In any case, you must have a valid driver’s license.

  • Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) reduces your liability in the event of an accident during your car rental. Without this, you could be liable for the full cost of the rental car if it were to be damaged or written off. CDW means you won’t have to pay the full cost of any repairs as long as you’ve followed the T&Cs.

CDW is always included when booking with rentico.ae with Excess or Excess Reimbursement. CDW is sometimes known as Loss Damage Waiver or Damage Excess Waiver.
